I'm Phillip, an IT professional and AI systems developer with a background spanning enterprise IT support, service desk operations, hardware and endpoint support, infrastructure, automation, and connected platforms.
I have over 10 years' experience across IT service desk, access management, hardware and endpoint support, deployment, infrastructure, web systems, and automation. I’ve worked in recognised organisations and enterprise environments including Balfour Beatty, Nissan, Cofely, Kier Group, Newcastle College, Motorpoint, and ShopLevers, covering 1st/2nd line support, Active Directory, SCCM, Citrix, VPNs, remote desktop, Windows rollouts, hardware migrations, user access, application support, troubleshooting, and practical software development.
My background is rooted in IT service desk, 1st & 2nd Line support, application support, hardware support, endpoint support, and operational IT, but I’ve also built web interfaces, backend systems, dashboards, business platforms, API integrations, database-driven applications, and automation scripts through my own projects and business work. More recently, I’ve been expanding into AI, local LLMs, tool-calling workflows, and connecting AI systems into practical business processes.
My main focus now is where IT, automation, and AI meet. I work with local language models, AI agents, tool-calling workflows, API-connected dashboards, private/offline AI setups, and systems that can interact with real services like databases, files, emails, calendars, devices, and business platforms.
I’m at my best when I’m deep in a technical project with a team or working alone, solving real problems and building something that makes a measurable difference.
I’m looking for practical IT, automation, or AI systems work where I can use my support background, hands-on engineering experience, and self-built software projects to help a team solve real problems and make everyday work run better.
